We’d like to announce and welcome our newest sponsored athlete, Quinn Rivera! You may recognize Quinn from the recent NBC television competition called Titan Games (with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson). Quinn captured our attention on the show and has since captured our hearts in getting to know him more. Not only is he a fantastic athlete, but he’s got intelligence, drive and a true PASSION for helping others. We couldn’t think of a better representative for our company! Here’s a little info about Quinn, but we highly suggest you learn even more by following him (@quinnriv) or listening to his podcast (link can be found @humbled_daily)

Quinn, 25 years old, was born and raised in the small town of Cody, Wyoming where he grew up playing football and running track at the all-state level and currently still holds the Wyoming State record for pole vaulting. An injury and his intense studies pulled him away from competitive athletics in college, so he eventually recaptured that competitive spirit in Crossfit and even became a certified L1 Crossfit trainer. He is currently a medical student at the University of Washington School of Medicine, and the remainder of his time is dedicated to his wife and to the mission of helping others and changing lives. Quinn owns a faith-based apparel and content company, called Humbled Daily, that seeks to put to death the lie that pride is a metric of success. He also runs a podcast, called KNOWN, whose aim is to help people through their battles and burdens by allowing individuals with platforms to be vulnerable about the battles they’ve faced and currently face. Freedom comes in being known.

Quinn also loves to speak, whether from a stage or in one-on-one conversations, about his passions (most often faith). He also loves to convey his message through spoken word poetry. When we asked what fitness means to him and what his personal goals are, he had this to say:

“One of my favorite parts of fitness is the doors that it opens to relationships due to shared suffering in community.  I think fitness is a deliberate daily discipline where skills of character can be cultivated, tested, and grown. Micro exposures to discipline, work ethic, and self-integrity can create macro change in mindset, mentality, and lifestyle. It stands to improve many aspects of your life. My personal goals are all focused around impacting and improving the lives of others. True leadership is servanthood so I look to serve people with the gifts and blessings that I have been given. Strength is for service, not status and I seek to walk that walk in my life and put wind behind my words with action”
