One would know 100% from bloodwork, does your estrogen run high? But we also use it in time of dieting to shed fat faster to lower estrogen. Another way to possibly know is if one holds a ton of water all the time- that could be high estrogen or fat storage patterns around the hips, glutes, upper thighs, etc. If you know your estrogen is high; take 2 Estro-Cort daily (1 morning and 1 evening). Bloodwork is recommended every 6 months to keep an eye on levels.
Most birth controls prevent birth by causing the body to increase hormones (like estrogen) to trick the body into thinking it is pregnant. Estro-Cort is meant to lower estrogen, so it can definitely make hormonal birth control less effective. It should only be used with non-hormonal birth controls and we always recommend consulting with your physician before starting.
It’s an estrogen metabolism product and will definitely lower estrogen, but if the gyno is already hard under the nipple, nothing will help that other than surgery. It will decrease puffy nipples though.
